Speakers
We wanted to expand the festival from just tasting to include more educational opportunities for those wanting to learn more about beer, brewing, and other aspects of our favorite subject.
This year we started a speaker program of 20 - 30 minute talks.
This year's speakers:
Todd Ashmann - Touring Belgium for Great Beers (formerly of Flossmoor Station, now with Brewers Supply Group of Rahr Malting)
Jeff Sparrow - Brewing Belgian Ales (his book on Belgian ales is out in June)
Brewin' Beagle - Cask-conditioned ales (Ray & Di setup bars with Cask ale systems)
Randy Mosher - Brewing Extremely (label designer - Lakefront, 3 Floyds, etc. - and author. His new book on "Radical Brewing", talking about historical brews & crazy homebrews just came out.)
The Beer Barons of Milwaukee are unable to control peoples schedules so this list is subject to change based on the potential for cancellations or other speakers to become available.
